Mia Nunez is passionate about health and fitness. After an umbilical hernia sidelined her running and weightlifting routine, she pursued a more gentle approach to health and wellness by becoming a Pilates and Yoga teacher and biofeedback specialist, helping herself and others to find balance through fitness, nutrition, and breathing techniques. As co-founder of AquaBodyStrong and Fitness Vacation Exchange, a company providing fitness instructors with teaching vacations, she helps others to find a perfect balance of work and play.


Bernadette is a certified continuing education provider for SCW, ACE and AFAA. Bernadette has acquired the nickname “Super Betty” after winning the Centrum Vitamin contest for “The Most Energized, Amazing Woman in America”. At 86, Bernadette not only teaches, she inspires. She served as a principal in the New York City Public Schools where she developed the internationally acclaimed program, “Learning to Read through the Arts”. She is also a BOSU Elite Master Trainer, helping the world rethink what “teaching seniors” means today.



Dr. Evan Osar is an internationally recognized speaker, author, and expert on assessment, corrective exercise, and functional movement. Dr. Osar has authored Corrective Exercise Solutions and The Psoas Solution and has developed the industry’s most advanced training certifications: Integrative Corrective Exercise Instructor™ and Integrative Movement Specialist™. With his wife Jenice Mattek, he created the Institute for Integrative Health and Fitness Education™, which provides live and on-line educational resources for the health and fitness professional that specializes in working with the older adult population.

Andrew Page


Andrew Page is a strength & conditioning coach for NBA players in NYC and the co-founder of The Axle Workout. While researching new training modalities, he began coupling Olympic Weightlifting exercises with rolling core exercises to create a metabolic effect that simulated “on court” workload. Andrew realized these training techniques would benefit athletes of all levels – and The Axle was born.

Yury exudes fitness versatility as a land and aqua certified group fitness instructor, personal trainer, mindful movement and meditation specialist, certified life coach and a world-renown continuing education provider. Yury won the SCW Instructor of the Year Award for 2016 and has appeared in internationally selling instructor training videos for specialty groups including active aging and the workout series for NBC’s “The Biggest Loser.” Yury is CEO and owner of Ki Mind Body Studio in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Jonathan Ross


His “800 Pounds of Parents” directly inspired Jonathan’s prolific fitness career. He is a multiple Personal Trainer of the Year Award-Winner (ACE, IDEA, and PFP Magazine), creator of Funtensity, brain fitness expert, blogger and master trainer for the American Council on Exercise (ACE). Ann Saldi


Founder and owner of VaVaVoom Dance and Fitness, LLC, in Framingham, MA, Ann has been in the dance and fitness industry for over 25 years. She is a ZES (Zumba Education Specialist) and has trained thousands of people to become Zumba Instructors in the New England area. She has presented nationally and internationally and was voted “Boston’s Best” instructor. She knows how to motivate and designs her workouts to inspire and achieve maximum results with her creative choreography. Ann is also the creator of Hip To Strip™.



Alana won the SCW Fitness Idol competition and is known to rock a crowd and turn any fitness event into a party. Nikki Schultz is a Les Mills International Presenter and US National Trainer for BODYJAM®, BODYPUMP®, the LES MILLS GRIT® Series. She has taught Les Mills programs for over eight years and is certified in BODYATTACK®, BODYCOMBAT®, BODYPUMP®, CXWORX®, and SH’BAM®. She has recently been featured in multiple videos for the LES MILLS GRIT Series. Nikki presents master classes and workshops around the world, manages group fitness for gyms in Chicago, and holds certifications in NASM® PT, TRX®, AIR® YOGA, ACE®, and AFAA® group fitness.


Tricia is a registered dietitian and the 2016 SCW Fitness MANIA® Boston Idol Winner. She specializes in employee/group wellness seminars and programs. She is a Wellcoaches-certified wellness coach, an AFAA-certified group fitness instructor, an ACE-certified personal trainer, and she is certified in Barre through SCW and Barre Above™. Her program, Collide, is a unique combined nutrition and exercise series. She has an MBA and teaches Nutrition Entrepreneurship and Healthy Aging at Northeastern University.


PJ is the PROJECT STEEL Program Creator and Director, Reebok Master Trainer and Reebok ONE Elite Ambassador. With his background in competing and coaching gymnastics, along with coaching professional athletes, he was naturally led to become a fitness performance coach. He utilizes over 20 years of experience and numerous certifications in the industry to provide an elite level of service. PJ is the co-owner and head coach of LOCK BOX FITNESS & PERFORMANCE CENTER in Los Angeles, CA.

She is responsible for the programming of 30,000+ members of the Harvard Community and oversees and educates more than 70 instructors and personal trainers. With over 20 years in the fitness industry, Dawn earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology and is a former health club owner. Karli Taylor, co-owner and creator of BarreFlow, has been in the fitness industry for over 20 years. Daniela’s extensive background in dance has led to a successful 16+ year career in the fitness industry. Doris has 30+ years in the fitness industry. She started as a college athlete, worked as a Divisional Director for a large club chain and now owns a fitness consulting business. Doris represents several International fitness brands including her role as Program Director for Indo-Row® and ShockWave, Senior Master Trainer and Global Mentor for Schwinn®, International Development Master Trainer team member for BOSU® and Hedstrom® Fitness, Power Music® Advisory Board Member and Lead RYKA® Fit-Pro Ambassador.



Nick, the 2016 NSCA Personal Trainer of the Year, is known as the “Trainer of Trainers.” He’s the owner of Performance University International, and he is the former Strength & Conditioning coach for Team Ground Control MMA. He is the author of Strength Training for Fat Loss, and Building Muscle and Performance, and he has also authored over 15 DVDs and 200 articles. Nick trains a select group of clients and athletes and runs a mentorship program for fitness professionals in his hometown of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Fen is the Product Director and Master Trainer at BollyX®. She has been working in the fitness industry for 12+ years and holds 15+ certifications. Fen began as a personal trainer and group exercise instructor and then became a Master Trainer for both ISCA and BollyX®. Fen’s expertise is in educating fitness instructors on effective teaching methodologies. Fen leads the Regional Training team at BollyX® and is based out of Boston where BollyX® has the largest thriving community.



Eric has a Masters in Sports and Management and has been a Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor for 17 years. He created AQUA STAND UP® in 2011 as a mixed land and aquatic workout. The CEO develops the program in swim centers and fitness centers and for the private customers.

Manuel is a proud Faculty Member for SCW Fitness Education, while being a valued trainer for Hydro-Fit, Bosu, Tabata Bootcamp and Barre Above. He is a WATERinMOTION® National Trainer and a recipient ECA-NYC OBOW All-Around International Presenter of the Year award and has been presenting at fitness conferences worldwide for over two decades. Manuel is a continuing education faculty for SCW, ACE, AFAA, ACSM, AEA, and WATERinMOTION®, and stars in over 50 Fitness Instructor Training Videos. He is an AFAA Team Pro and Examiner, and is a Lead Instructor at the Golden Door Spa in Puerto Rico and is RYT-200 Yoga certified.



Amy lives in New Hampshire and is a loving mom who inspires others through fitness, kindness, generosity and support. She started her fitness career in 2009 with Zumba®. In 2015, Amy became a POUND® Pro and is now a part of the POUND® ICON (Master Pro) team.



Billie has 28+ years of experience in the fitness industry. She won the 2016 SCW Fitness Idol Competition and is an SCW Fitness certified Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor. Billie has a BA from Grand Canyon University and is a Master Trainer for Barre Above™, Tabata Bootcamp™ and LifeTime Fitness. As a former competitive cheerleader, Billie brings high-energy, enthusiasm and encouragement to her classes. She is also a U-Jam Instructor and the Fitness/Wellness Manager at Trilogy Orlando.



Andrea has been a licensed physical therapist, athletic trainer and massage therapist for nearly 25 years. She currently serves as a faculty member for Gray Institute and completed a Fellowship in Applied Functional Science in 2007. Though most of her performance enhancement, injury prevention and rehabilitation experience has been done helping competitive athletes, she has had the opportunity to work with all age groups in nearly every type of setting.


Amy has worked in the fitness industry most of her adult life. A trained dancer as a child led to a natural transition into fitness. She currently works as a group fitness instructor and dance instructor and previously was a group fitness manager overseeing a large staff of instructors. Amy’s passion for fitness is contagious; she loves bringing health into the lives of others and is thrilled to be a Champion for WATERinMOTION®! Amy holds certifications with WATERinMOTION®, ACE and Zumba®.


Kristin has over 15 years of experience shaping marketing programs that create brand value, drive revenue growth, and propel companies in the fitness, wellness, consumer goods and non-profit channels to the forefront of the industry. She has worked as a director on brand marketing, events, social media and operations for Fortune 500 companies as well as start-ups, including opening her own boutique agency, Prowess. Char is an International Nirvana Education Specialist (NES), National Coordinator and Presenter for NirvanFitness®. She is also a Registered Yoga Teacher, Certified Pilates Instructor Meditation & Mindfulness Instructor, Reiki Professional Teacher and Certified Sound Healer. She delivers instructor trainings to certify new instructors in the NirvanaFitness® format and offers AFAA, ACE and NASM CEUs & CECs to new and existing NirvanaFitness® instructors throughout New England, the US and abroad.
