Kristy Anaya is a strong, energetic individual built with an enthusiasm for all things fitness. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations. She is AEA, AFAA, YogaFit certified and a Acquapole ® Master Trainer. She believes one should never stop learning and is intentional in changing the perception that water fitness is only for the senior population. She shares her energy in helping others lead their own healthy, fit, and balanced life.


Abbie Appel is the owner and CEO of Abbiefit Consulting, Appel Programming Solutions and the Program Director Fitspace Studios. As an award-winning fitness educator, Abbie develops and delivers programs for Power Systems, Schwinn Cycling and many other organizations. She created the SCW Pilates and SCW Barre Certifications and received SCW’s “Best Presenter” award. Abbie has produced and starred in over 30 fitness videos and contributes to fitness publications such as Self, Shape, and Prevention.


Pam Benchley


Pam has had the opportunity to work in the fitness profession for over 20 years, as both a group exercise instructor and personal trainer. Her specialties include Indoor Cycling, Balance training and Functional Fitness. She has been a BOSU® Master Trainer since 2008 and a Master Educator with Stages indoor cycling since 2010. She has been on the faculty of the State University of New York for 21 years, serving in the department of Exercise Science.

Brian Bettendorf, MSM (Management), MA (Kinesiology) is the Head of Education for RumbleRoller and a managing partner in Drake Global Strategy, a consulting firm helping fitness and sporting goods companies develop their brand, create new products and accelerate growth. He has been in the fitness industry for over twenty years as a practitioner, operator, educator and consultant. After selling a physical therapy and fitness company he co-founded, Brian then spent time during the early years at TRX in a variety of product, marketing, education and business development roles.

Amber Bruehl


Amber is a part-time wannabe drummer who discovered a love for music and movement through dance. She grew up performing and competing all over the country and by age 16 was teaching and sharing her passion with others. Amber studied dance at The University of Oklahoma and worked as an instructor training local dance teams and individuals to compete on regional and national levels. In 2010 she moved to Los Angeles where she met POUND creator Kirsten Potenza and became one of the first POUND ICONS (Master Trainers).




CarolAnn, M.S., the creator of Chiseled Faith®, is a 25-year industry veteran holding positions such as program director, studio owner, educator, presenter, and author. She has developed programs for organizations such as FiTOUR, Hydracize, MedFit Network, and PT Global. Along with producing and starring in several fitness videos, she is a health and fitness expert contributor for publications such as Livestrong, PFP, and New Tampa Style Magazine. She is currently on the Health Advisory Board for MedFit Network. She has been selected to be a 2019-2021 National Fitness Hall of Fame Fitness Superstar.


Cameron is the Director of Education for Stages Cycling. In this role, she has had the pleasure of mentoring other Master Educators throughout the world. As a leading authority in the indoor cycling tech revolution, Cameron has had the opportunity to work with the largest commercial fitness accounts in the world.

Fabio is an MS in Exercise Science & adjunct faculty member at Mesa College and a proud SCW Faculty Member. Previously, as an ACE exercise physiologist, he was the primary developer of ACE’s IFT™ model and live personal training educational workshops. Prior experiences include collegiate head coaching, strength and conditioning and opening/managing clubs for Club One. An international presenter, Fabio has been featured in multiple media outlets and is an accomplished chapter and book author.



Tricia is the founder of REB3L LLC and creator of the REB3L Groove™️ and REB3L Strength™️ formats. She is a certified group fitness instructor and personal trainer, holds a certification in sports nutrition, and is a health/lifestyle coach. She entered the fitness industry after the birth of her 4th son as a means to manage her mental health. Through her journey, she not only became stronger internally, but physically as well, losing almost 50lbs. She has developed a passion for sharing her journey with others, helping them redefine themselves and discover their inner badass.



Amber Cura is a MASHUP® Master Trainer, NASM PT, ACE GXI, Silver Sneaker’s certified and Real Ryder certified with a background in marketing. Amber loves certifying other instructors in MASHUP® as well as teaching it because it is one of the few formats that allows her to build a functional workout that is both challenging and accessible for all fitness levels to perform.




Sohailla offers 20+ years of experience as a registered dietitian nutritionist, fitness pro and presenter. She is the founder of the 52-day Best Body Countdown program developed for fitness professionals to bring sound nutrition and accountability to their centers. She uses the 3 books she has authored to team up with fitness pros to ensure clients reach and maintain their Best Bodies, along with online coaching groups and her membership site.


Danielle obtained her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and Masters in Recreation Administration. She is The Creator of Dance Corps®, a fusion of Hip Hop Dance and Interval Training. An expert in the fitness industry, Danielle has taught for 15 years, managed collegiate and nonprofit group fitness and wellness programs, has been an adjunct professor for fitness/wellness-based courses, and was a NASM Personal Trainer. She is a two-time presenter of dance-based sessions at intercollegiate fitness conferences.


Carolyn is the President and CEO for CE Fitness Consulting LLC and has been in the fitness industry for over 34 years. From teaching classes and training clients to multi-unit health club management, Carolyn is a former District Manager for sixteen 24 Hour fitness locations in San Diego. She also served as the Director of Sales and Business Development for Jillian Michaels BODYSHRED. Carolyn is currently the National Education Sales Director for Savvier Fitness and the Education Coordinator for Stroops. She is a master trainer for Jillian Michaels BODYSHRED™, GOFLO® Trainer, Barre Above™, and Stroops®.

With 20 years of industry experience, Steve is well known for the implementation of group fitness/wellness programs across premier facilities, universities, and community associations. Sonja Friend-Uhl


Sonja is a world-class athlete and skilled fitness programmer. She has over 17 years of experience in the fitness industry and holds Certifications with USATF, ACSM and AFAA as well as AFAA specialty certifications in Youth, Senior, and Pre-Natal Fitness. Sonja is also a professional runner and holds multiple records. Sonja also prioritizes her role as wife and mother (daughter, Brianna) in addition to her fitness career and competitive endeavors.



Andrew is a 13-year veteran of the fitness industry with focus on corporate wellness services, portable fitness equipment, and fitness accessibility. He is founder of both MostFit, LLC, the creators of the MostFit Core Hammer, SYN Rings and AGF Wellness, a corporate wellness services provider for a number of companies in the greater L.A. area. His experience in multiple corporate wellness programs has provided him with insight in habit development and change, an integral part of any healthy lifestyle.


During Lauren’s 11+ years in the fitness industry, she has managed the group fitness programs at The Baylor Tom Landry Fitness Center, Florida State University, and ToddPilates Fitness in Austin. In 2015, she created PulsePointe barre (now part of the Barre Above® program). Lauren is the co-creator of the enhanced Barre Above® program, a Balletone® Master Trainer, serves as adjunct faculty at Clemson University, and is the owner of Clemson Fitness Company, in Clemson, SC.

Ann Gilbert


Ann Gilbert is an owner of two, Shapes Fitness for Women, franchises. Ann oversees the operations of as many as 25 certified Personal Trainers, 50 Group Fitness professionals, and coordinates fee-based group personal training programs. Ann was awarded ACE / IHRSA Personal Trainer of the Year in 2001 and has been a popular speaker at Club Industry, SCW MANIA, IAFC, and IHRSA Conventions since 2002. Ann writes for Fitness magazines and can be seen on local TV weekly.

Kurt Gillon


Kurt Gillon is a nationally certified through NASM, ACE, ISSA, NESTA, TRX, Silver Sneakers FLEX and AAHF. Kurt recently served as Academic Advisory Board Member for Clayton State University, 2016 August PFP Trainer Of The Month and finalist for PFP Trainer Of The Year Award along with being named an inaugural international brand ambassador for Club Industry Media. Kurt is also a nationally recognized speaker in the fitness industry specializing in active aging training and cancer exercise. He focuses his lectures on these populations because it is vitally important people have a strong working knowledge of training for aging and recovery.


Elian Haan has a background in professional dance and came to the US from Amsterdam in 1995 as a licensed fitness instructor. Certified in a wide variety of disciplines Elian creates & develops her own A.F.T.E.R.™ fitness programs, owns a yoga/ fitness studio in Texas and works at the Treehouse, an addiction rehab facility, as wellness coach specialized in trauma yoga, somatic bodywork, pain management & anxiety intervention.

Brandon Hall, former D1 baseball player from Grambling is now currently serving as the Regional Director for Camp Gladiator Atlanta. Brandon inspires his clients and trainers daily with his can do mentality and ability to motivate.

Jenn is a former professional dancer who performed with many superstars including Beyoncé Jay-Z and Usher. Her love of movement led her to a career as an international presenter, educator, author and fitness business consultant. She is also a sought-after choreographer with credits including the Miss America pageant, the opening ceremonies of the Olympics in Atlanta, GA, and Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance. A former gym owner and Media Personality in Jamaica, Denise emigrated to the US and pursued her desire to help seniors live their best lives. She developed Fitness programs and worked as a Personal Trainer at The Clay Madsen and Baca Centers in Texas. In addition, she developed the Move Your Body program at her church, creating a FunFit workout class for adults 55+. She also speaks and demonstrates to groups about living healthier lives.


Jeff is a world-renowned fitness presenter who has lived in South Africa, Puerto Rico and the United States. As part of the SCW Faculty, he has starred in numerous SCW Fitness videos and has educated fitness professionals at conventions worldwide for over a decade. Jeff trained countless celebrities as the pioneer instructor at the Golden Door Spa and has appeared on several national TV shows. Jeff is currently the Promotional Director of Fitness for Milestone Baptist East.



Ashleigh is the founder of REB3L LLC and creator of the REB3L Groove™️ and REB3L Strength™️ formats. She is a certified group fitness instructor and personal trainer, holds a certification in sports nutrition, and is a health/lifestyle coach. She entered the fitness industry as an instructor, trying to fulfill a need that was missing in her personal fitness after a difficult move. In the process, her mental and physical strength grew and a fire ignited. She continues to fuel her passion by working with others to help them renew their physical, mental, and emotional health through fitness.




Angelique is the proud co-founder of the brand new dual sided mat, TURF ON THE GO! Her passion for fitness started 8 years ago with her own personal health and fitness transformation. Annika Kahn is the founder and creator of Jungshin Fitness®, a sword focused fitness workout based upon multi-directional momentum training. She is an international presenter and has extensive background in athletic conditioning and sports performance. Her training in the Korean Martial Art of Kuk Sool Won has awarded her four world grand champions and the rank of third degree black belt. The Jungshin Fitness® workout has been featured on ABC, NBC, FOX news, and in Shape, Martha Stewart’s Whole Living, and Prevention magazines. Greg has a myriad of both Vocational and Academic learnings and been a Presenter to Instructors at Global Conventions for well over 30 years. This visit will bring him to USA for the 21st time (39 States) and is part of his 7th World Tour, the 5th with Evelyn Keyes (They are Globally known in Aquatics as a Dynamic Unique Duo). Ben Kohler is a passionate fitness professional with experience in a plethora of health and wellness avenues including personal training, group fitness instruction, and health coaching. Ben is currently pursuing his M.S in Kinesiology from the University of Minnesota, with an emphasis on the Behavioral Aspects of Physical Activity. This focus on motivation and behavior change strategies help to round out his technical knowledge and expertise, hoping to create lasting change. Len Kravitz, PhD, CSCS is the program coordinator of exercise science and a researcher at the University of New Mexico where he recently received the Presidential Award of Distinction and the Outstanding Teacher of the Year award. He is a 2016 inductee into the National Fitness Hall of Fame. Dr. Kravitz was awarded the Fitness Educator of the Year by the American Council on Exercise and has received the Canadian Fitness Professional Lifetime Achievement Award.

Mover, shaker and joie de vivre giver! Blending 25 years of international experience with degrees in psychology and exercise science, Nathalie will passionately share her inspirational insights. As the former Vice Presidnet of CanFit Pro,she uses her uniquely vibrant leadership style to make profound and lasting change with her team, clients and participants.


Melissa is a Kinesiology Department faculty member at the University of North Georgia. She has 30 years of experience and a master’s degree in Exercise Physiology. She taught elementary PE and coordinated fitness programs for Royal Caribbean, Home Depot and orthopedic surgeons. Melissa is the author of WATER EXERCISE (Human Kinetics 2015), a member of the educational faculty and a DVD presenter for SCW. She is well versed at taking complicated material and breaking it down into easily understood pieces.




Elizabeth is a Master Trainer for and the Program Director of Balletone, is a Senior National Master Trainer for BOSU and Hedstrom Fitness, and a Master Trainer for Barre Above and Tabata Bootcamp. She possesses an M.Ed in Educational Psychology and multiple certifications. With over 20 years in fitness, she has directed in commercial, non-profit and collegiate arenas. She is the owner of Studio E Fitness and is regularly on Mass Appeal on WWLP as a fitness expert.

Irene Lewis-McCormick, M.S. is the 2018 IDEA Fitness Instructor of the Year, SCW Fitness faculty and certification leader; a published author, fitness consultant and master trainer for TRX, Power Systems and Savvier Fitness. Irene is the Group Training Manager and Lead Conference Educator for WaterRower, a RYKA FitPro and an Orangetheory Fitness educator and head coach.


Shannon Lyon


Shannon Lyon is a MASHUP® Master Trainer, ACE GXI, and cycle certified with a background in law enforcement. In addition to certifying instructors in MASHUP®, as a coach she loves how her participants are so excited about this VIIT program and how it is a different workout every time. She loves that MASHUP®’s VIIT benefits are endless and how rewarding it is to coach this format.

Pete is an ACE and NASM Certified Personal Trainer, consultant and host of the All About Fitness podcast. In addition, Pete is a CSCS with the NSCA and holds a MS in Exercise Science. Pete is a blogger for ACE, online instructor for NASM, teaches group fitness and is an author of numerous articles and textbook chapters. Currently, Pete is a well-respected adjunct faculty at Mesa College and a proud SCW Faculty member having created and contributed to multiple SCW Certifications.


Dennis Mellon


Dennis is a Master Educator with Stages Cycling and has been a certified indoor cycling instructor since 1997. He is also a Certified Performance Enhancement Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education and a Minor in Coaching from the State University of New York College at Cortland. In 2012 Dennis was voted the Mountain West’s “Top Spin Instructor” by Competitor Magazine. He is also the proud father of twin teenage boys.

Jonathan Mike


Jonathan Mike, PhD, CSCS*D, NSCA-CPT*D, USAW, NKT-2, is a currently a Professor in the Exercise Science and Sports Performance program at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ. He has been a visiting Professor in Kinesiology at University of Southern Mississippi, and an Assistant Professor at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO. He earned his PhD in Exercise Science at the University of New Mexico (Albuquerque).

Elizabeth Mooney


Country Fusion® is created by Elizabeth Mooney. Elizabeth has been a dancer since the age of 2 and has taught fitness for over 10 years. Past experience includes directing her own off-broadway show in NYC, America’s Got Talent Season 6, and Mercedes Benz fashion week. Elizabeth’s personal achievements include being a finalist in the Miss Italia competition, Elite Model Management competition, Bikini USA and in Miss Hawaiian Tropic. Being an accomplished actress, dancer, choreographer and model, Ms. Mooney has appeared in many television roles, including HBO’s “Boardwalk Empire”, and roles on USA’s “Royal Pains”. Her most recent film and television appearances have been as a featured dancer on the Stars network show “Power”. Certifications include AFAA Personal Trainer, Pole Dance, Barre Assets, and training in BOSU and Bootcamp.

Bruce has a BA from the University of Florida as well as a Plant Based Nutrition Certification from Cornell University. Having done extensive research on dietary patterns and how it affects health, Bruce shares insights into the latest myths regarding nutrition, food, and its impact on society. He is currently Director of Sales for Savvier Fitness, an industry leader in creating innovative programs and products for fitness professionals including Tabata Bootcamp™.
