Emily Nelson


Emily is the co-owner/creator of HIGH Fitness LP, a group fitness format that’s quickly taking the fitness world by storm with its modernization of old school aerobics mixed with HIIT training. Emily began her fitness career 13 years ago in Canada and hasn’t looked back since teaching every fitness format she could. She runs HIGH Fitness with co-owner Amber Zenith, and they travel North America certifying HIGH instructors and spreading their love of group fitness.

Bernadette is a certified continuing education provider for SCW, ACE and AFAA. Bernadette has acquired the nickname “Super Betty” after winning the Centrum Vitamin contest for “The Most Energized, Amazing Woman in America”. At 86, Bernadette not only teaches, she inspires. She served as a principal in the New York City Public Schools where she developed the internationally acclaimed program, “Learning to Read through the Arts”. She is also a BOSU Elite Master Trainer, helping the world rethink what “teaching seniors” means today.



Dr. Evan Osar is an internationally recognized speaker, author, and expert on assessment, corrective exercise, and functional movement. Dr. Osar has authored Corrective Exercise Solutions and The Psoas Solution and has developed the industry’s most advanced training certifications: Integrative Corrective Exercise Instructor™ and Integrative Movement Specialist™. With his wife, Jenice Mattek, he created the Institute for Integrative Health and Fitness Education™, which provides live and on-line educational resources for the health and fitness professional that specializes in working with the older adult population.


Lauren Outlaw is a former professional dancer & International Television Choreographer. Featured on the hit show “Dance Moms” and more recently seen as the Fox News Fitness Trainer. Lauren has worked as staging director and choreographer on music videos, live shows and concert tours for some of Europe’s Hottest Stars. Her choreography has won countless awards & can be seen in Nike & Pepsi advertising commercials & on the fields and sidelines of the NFL.

Andrew Page


Andrew Page is a strength & conditioning coach for NBA players in NYC and the co-founder of The Axle Workout. While researching new training modalities, he began coupling Olympic Weightlifting exercises with rolling core exercises to create a metabolic effect that simulated “on court” workload. Andrew realized these training techniques would benefit athletes of all levels – and The Axle was born.

Power Systems


Elisabeth is the owner of Core Expectations®, Co-Creator of Made for Women Workouts® and a Women’s Health and Wellness coach for 20 years. Mother of 4 adult boys, and a Personal Trainer, she co-produced and starred in workout videos being sold around the world. Elisabeth manages a multi-disciplinary team of health professionals and is a PRO TRAINER for CanFitPro (Canada’s premier certification organization) for almost a decade. She is also a successful Master Trainer for Bellies Inc, educating allied health professionals specializing in women’s care.


Susane is a bilingual, Senior Master Trainer for TriggerPoint™, Life Fitness and TRX. She conducts education courses for fitness instructors, personal trainers, healthcare professionals and the military. With over 20 years of experience in the fitness industry, she has presented at conferences worldwide and conducts courses to develop new instructors. Susane believes that no matter what tool or philosophy you advocate, seek not only to motivate at the moment but to inspire for life.



Jani Roberts is the Founder & Creative Director of Alignment Essentials, a health, fitness & wellness company that helps participants redefine what they believe they are capable of achieving. Jani has over 35 years of experience in the industry. She specializes in health & wellness related services, products & preventative health education.She has presented nationally and internationally at IDEA, SCW, CAN FIT PRO, AAAI, and EMPOWER Events among many others. ACE, AFAA, NASM certified.


Keli has been inducted into the National Fitness Hall of Fame and is a Schwinn® Master Trainer. She is the recipient of the IDEA International Fitness Instructor of the Year and OBOW ECA award for Best Use of Equipment, Best Female Presenter, and Lifetime Achievement Award. As SCW Faculty and an ACE Master Trainer, Keli is known for her acclaimed workshops worldwide. Her award-winning videos demonstrate her exceptional teaching skills. Keli is ACSM HFS-certified and holds certifications through AFAA, ACE Group Fitness, ACE Gold Personal Trainer, and Level 1 Precision Nutrition.



Yury exudes fitness versatility as a land and aqua certified group fitness instructor, personal trainer, mindful movement and meditation specialist, certified life coach and a world-renown continuing education provider. Yury won the SCW Instructor of the Year Award for 2016 and has appeared in internationally selling instructor training videos for specialty groups including active aging and the workout series for NBC’s “The Biggest Loser.” Yury is CEO and owner of Ki Mind Body Studio in Hanoi, Vietnam.



3X3FIT Product & Program Developer, 25 years On Air Fitness Talent, Infomercials, QVC, HSN. Development of 18 unique fitness machines. Because of Kim’s own struggles to get in shape after having three children at a very young age, she made it her life-time career to find ways to encourage others into a healthier lifestyle with fitness. Kim says that 3X3FIT is her best. It is a new category in fitness that reaches out to the beginner to the athlete as well as those with Physical Therapy needs, disabled and Advanced Seniors.


Ann Saldi, founder and owner of VaVaVoom Dance and Fitness,LLC , in Framingham, MA has been in the dance and fitness industry for over 25 years. She is a ZES(Zumba Education Specialist)for Zumba Fitness,LLC and has trained thousands of people to become Zumba Instructors in the New England area. Voted “Boston’s Best” instructor, she has presented nationally and internationally and is a Presenter at the Zumba Fitness Convention.



Lauren has been an NASM personal trainer for Gold’s Gym in Florida for 9+ years. She has taught group fitness for 8 years completing AFAA’s indoor cycling workshop and has earned many other certifications. She got certified in LES MILLS BODYPUMP in 2012 and has since gotten certified to teach LES MILLS GRIT, CXWORX, SPRINT and BODYVIVE 3.1. She became a presenter for LES MILLS in 2016. Fitness has always been a part of her life!

Terry Shorter created R.I.P.P.E.D. -The One Stop Body Shock® in 2008. Since then the R.I.P.P.E.D. program has amassed over 13,000 global instructors teaching at over 1,000 gyms nationwide. Terry and his wife Tina’s success with R.I.P.P.E.D. was fueled by their passion for the program and the overwhelmingly positive response from the workout community. Terry has been featured in: PopSugar Instructional workout videos, KTLA Morning News, Turbo Jam ®, IDEA World Fitness Convention, and more.



Tina Shorter is the co-founder of R.I.P.P.E.D. – The One Stop Body Shock® and is a co-writer and vocalist on many of R.I.P.P.E.D.’s custom music tracks. Tina has been featured in: PopSugar Instructional workout videos, multiple News programs, Turbo Jam ® DVD, IDEA World Fitness Convention, and more. Tina’s experience encompasses over 25 years of professional music and dance, 16 years as a fitness instructor, and currently leads R.I.P.P.E.D. – The One Stop Body Shock® at one of the premier fitness facilities in the country.



Tricia is a registered dietitian and the 2016 SCW Fitness MANIA® Boston Idol Winner. She specializes in employee/group wellness seminars and programs. She is a Wellcoaches-certified wellness coach, an AFAA-certified group fitness instructor, an ACE-certified personal trainer, and she is certified in Barre through SCW and Barre Above™. Her program, Collide, is a unique combined nutrition and exercise series. She has an MBA and teaches Nutrition Entrepreneurship and Healthy Aging at Northeastern University.



Janell Vela Smith created & founded Iron Dragon Productions in 2009. An Entrepreneur, Martial Arts Master, Stuntwoman/Actress/Host, Author and Mother of 2 daughters, Janell is also a coach for an Elite Leadership Team called Signet Leadership Development. She is currently writing a book called “Awakening the Dragon Within”, Janell’s training background is Trainer, Coach, Instructor and creator of Cardio Combat Fitness classes, a combination of martial arts and Kickboxing.


PJ Stahl, MA, CSCS, is the creator and director of PROJECT STEEL™, a Power Systems Master Coach and a Reebok & ReebokONE Elite Ambassador. He utilizes over 20 years of experience and numerous certifications in the industry to provide an elite level of service. PJ is the co-owner and head coach of LOCK BOX FITNESS & PERFORMANCE CENTER in Los Angeles, CA. He is also the co-owner and founder of FORMfirst, a fitness app-building company.



The Area Fitness Program Manager for Harvard University since 2003, Dawn Stenis holds a BA in Kinesiology and over 20 years of experience in the fitness industry. She is a certified personal trainer, group fitness instructor, a former health club owner and a Master Trainer for Schwinn™ Cycling, BOSU® Fitness, Tabata Bootcamp™, Barre Above® and SCW Mania® conventions. Dawn’s philosophy lies in helping everyone find the joy in movement, leading to longer, healthy, active lives.



Louis is a three-time World Latin Dance Champion who is best known as a nine-season, crowd favorite Pro on the ABC hit TV show Dancing with the Stars. An Emmy-nominated choreographer, Louis regularly works for So You Think You Can Dance and Dancing with the Stars. He presents internationally as CEO of LaBlast® Fitness sharing his passion for dance and mission to get people moving through LaBlast® Fitness and LaBlast® Splash.



Manuel is a proud Faculty Member for SCW Fitness Education and a WATERinMOTION® National Trainer. He is a valued trainer for BOSU®, Tabata Bootcamp and Barre Above and a recipient of the NYC All-Around International Presenter of the Year award and has been presenting at fitness conferences worldwide for over two decades. Manuel is a continuing education faculty member for SCW, ACE, AFAA, ACSM, AEA and WATERinMOTION® and stars in over 50 Fitness Instructor Training Videos. He is also RYT-200 Yoga certified and an AFAA Team Pro and Examiner. Manuel is a former Lead Instructor at the Golden Door Spa in Puerto Rico and now is a head instructor at Rancho La Puerta in Tecate Mexico (outside of San Diego).



Connie is the choreographer for WATERinMOTION®, a faculty member with SCW Fitness Education, and is certified by ACE, AEA, AFAA, Yoga Fit, Schwinn, Reebok Cycle, and Moms in Motion. She has been awarded the Aquatic Exercise Association’s Fitness Professional of the Year award and is a published author in various trade publications. She has over 30 years of teaching experience in the U.S. and abroad and is presently teaching in Northern Virginia. She has traveled around the world presenting new and creative workshops to make fitness more accessible, professional, and fun.


Amy grew up as a classical ballerina starting with lessons at the age of 4. She began her group fitness instructor career with ZUMBA® in 2009 and soon after ZUMBA® Toning. In 2015, she became a POUND® Pro, completed two POUND® Pro Amplify trainings, joining the POUND® ICON team in 2017. Amy hopes to continue to raise awareness around the power of human connection, heighten confidence and self-worth, lead by example, and change lives in a positive way.



Billie has 28+ years of experience in the fitness industry. She won the 2016 SCW Fitness Idol Competition and is an SCW-certified Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor. Billie has a BA from Grand Canyon University and is a Master Trainer for Barre Above™, Tabata Bootcamp™, and LifeTime Fitness. As a former competitive cheerleader, Billie brings high-energy, enthusiasm, and encouragement to her classes. She is also a U-Jam Instructor and the Fitness/Wellness Manager at Trilogy Orlando.
