Rosie Malaghan, MS, ERYT-200, has over 15 years of experience teaching and counseling, virtually and live, fitness, yoga, leadership, and organizational development. Rosie holds a Masters of Science degree in Human Development and served as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Rhode Island. She is an ERYT and C-RYT, ACE CPT, Fitness Nutrition Specialist, and holds several SCW certifications. Rosie currently serves on the Fitness Team at Trilogy Orlando, an active aging community in central Florida.


Michele Melkerson-Granryd, M.Ed. has been in the fitness industry for almost four decades. Her roles and responsibilities have been broad, from managing individual departments to entire clubs, but always keeping her fingers in the technical side of things with daily teaching and training. Michele currently operates Michele Fit & Well Personal Training & Fitness Management Solutions in Austin, Texas and is a member of IHRSA’s Board of Directors.


Patrick earned a baseball scholarship to San Diego State University & graduated with a B.S. in Athletic Training. He founded Symmetry for Health & was awarded a patent on a measurable system for postural assessment and corrective exercise – AlignSmart Technology. Patrick has written three books, the latest – “The Physics of Pain; becoming Pain-Free” & has spoken on the subject of postural assessment at multiple conferences & corporations.


Drew Myers has a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications with an emphasis in Journalism & a master’s degree in Educational Administration. He is a mental resilience and personal development speaker who generates hope, inspires action and reminds audiences to make the important things important – starting with themselves. Through his podcasts and speaking engagements, he showcases and celebrates individuals who have given themselves permission to live radically honest lives, pursue their dreams and live on purpose. Steven J. Patrick’s career of more than 25 years in hospitality includes developing fitness programs for hotels, resorts, and clubs. With strong leadership, he built successful teams for Canyon Ranch, The Walt Disney Company, Marriott, and Ritz Carlton Hotels. Creating the “WOW” factor and memorable guest experiences with a hands-on training focus have been a secret of his success in employee retention and building a strong culture, which allows businesses to be profitable.


Irene PluimMentz became a licensed physical therapist in the Netherlands before immigrating to the United States. She is the co-owner of One Step Beyond, Inc. Physical Therapy. Irene’s passion for anything “water” led to becoming an AEA certified instructor. She integrates her knowledge of hydrodynamics with physical therapy into all of her sessions. Irene is the inventor and developer of the Aqua-Ω adjustable drag resistance water exercise equipment.


Paula Raphael is originally from Louisville, KY, and has lived in the Fort Myers Area since 2002. This mother of 3 boys is a Master Trainer for Acquapole® and SAF AQUA Drums Vibes®. Paula is a Physical Therapist Assistant and holds fitness certifications with ACE, AEA, RYT, and holds various other licenses for other fitness formats. Jared is a former collegiate athlete with a Bachelor of Science from Texas A & M University-Commerce. Lost as to what he wanted to do after he graduated, he started in the industry in 2005 as a trainer at 24 Hour Fitness in Houston, Texas. Jared was fortunate enough to find an opportunity to open his facility in 2009, where the story of Dynamic Fitness first started down in Pearland, Texas. Brittainye is a licensed physical therapist assistant, professional dancer, certified group exercise instructor, certified personal trainer, certified life coach, neuro-linguistic programming specialist, and licensed business owner. She started her first business in 2003 and group exercise in 2006 and obtained her degree in Physical Therapy. Brittainye has taught Silver Sneakers, Silver-N-Fit, Arthritis Foundation, Zumba, U-Jam, and Line Dancing. Shedeveloped a style of teaching through her private company, Wise Moves Dance.
