Kristy Anaya is a strong, energetic individual built with an enthusiasm for all things fitness. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations. She is AEA, AFAA, YogaFit certified and a Acquapole ® Master Trainer. She believes one should never stop learning and is intentional in changing the perception that water fitness is only for the senior population. She shares her energy in helping others lead their own healthy, fit, and balanced life.


Abbie Appel is the owner and CEO of Abbiefit Consulting, Appel Programming Solutions and the Program Director Fitspace Studios. As an award-winning fitness educator, Abbie develops and delivers programs for Power Systems, Schwinn Cycling and many other organizations. She created the SCW Pilates and SCW Barre Certifications and received SCW’s “Best Presenter” award. Abbie has produced and starred in over 30 fitness videos and contributes to fitness publications such as Self, Shape, and Prevention.


Aaron Armstrong


Aaron (A.J.) Armstrong is a leader, engineer, entrepreneur, manager, veteran, investor, international business and life strategist, and author. He is a former D1 football player and graduate from the United States Military Academy at West Point with a BS in Systems Engineering. He and his wife are the owners and founders of three start-up companies: Armstrong Ventures LLC, Armstrong Real Estate Group LLC, and Marissa’s Fit Boutique LLC.



For Dr. James Bach, movement is a healing modality. With his patients & clients, he has developed a unique methodology that combines evidence-based applications of exercise physiology, movement science, and soft tissue manipulation with cutting edge training techniques. This holistic approach to overall wellness is grounded in a never-ending passion for education and discovery which allows him to help individuals of all fitness levels achieve peak performance with reduced risk of injury.

Pam Benchley


Pam Benchley has been involved with fitness education for over 25 years. She is one of the original Master Educators with Stages Indoor Cycling and was awarded Presenter of the Year in 2018. Pam is a lead trainer with Hedstrom Fitness, creators of the BOSU® Balance Trainer and Surge® brands. She has been a provider for ACE, AFAA, and CanFit Education, presenting both nationally and internationally at events such as IHRSA, IDEA, SCW, DCAC, Empower and CanFit Pro. Pam is also a dedicated multi-sport athlete competing in multiple Ironman® events. Currently, she is also a member of Team Stages Multisport.

Jenna Bostic is an international Zumba® Education Specialist for Zumba® Fitness. She has been presenting for Zumba® since 2008 and teaches Zumba® Basic 1, Zumba® Basic 2, Zumba® Step, Zumba® Toning & Aqua Zumba® instructor trainings. Jenna was the featured ZES for the one-on-one choreography on the ZIN #35 DVD and on ZIN TV for both Aqua Zumba® & Zumba® Toning. Jenna has a degree in Exercise & Sport Science and holds ACE, AFAA and AEA certifications in group fitness, personal training and aqua fitness.”


Mac Carvalho


Mac holds a Bachelors of Science in Physical Education from Bridgewater State University. Starting his fitness career in 2012, he hass been featured in several WATERinMOTION Releases and POP Pilates Official Choreography release. Mac is proud to be a WATERinMOTION Champion, as well as part of the Tour Crew for POUND.  Currently, Mac teaches 20 classes a week at the Old Colony YMCA.  Mac is a featured SCW MANIA presenter in Barre, Dance as well at Aqua.




For 25+ years, Whitney has been teaching and motivating students across the country. Whitney holds multiple certifications in several mind/body modalities. She has managed large for-profit and not-for-profit Group Fitness programs bicoastally. Currently, Whitney is JCC Manhattan’s Fitness Production Manager. Whitney created a nationally recognized Yoga for Parkinson’s program, trained in the MELT Method from its inception and specializes in teaching special populations. She teaches throughout NYC for Equinox, JCC Manhattan, and privately.

Brittany Citron is the founder of PROnatal Fitness, a company specializing in pre/postnatal education and certifications. As a mother of two, she views the pregnancy journey like the major athletic event that it is, and travels the country teaching professionals how to utilize the company’s unique Performance Training Approach to better prepare women for the “event of their lives.” In addition to being a national presenter, she’s a course author and 2017 SCW Fitness Idol Winner.



Fabio is a Faculty Member at San Diego State University and UC, San Diego and a proud SCW Faculty Member. Previously, as an ACE exercise physiologist, he was the primary developer of ACE’s IFT™ model and live personal training educational workshops. Prior experiences include collegiate head coaching, strength and conditioning and opening/managing clubs for Club One. Apy is a former national synchronized swimmer for Puerto Rico who always loved dancing whether in water or on land. She was always intrigued by how celebrities with no dance background came to a show like Dancing with the Stars and, after a couple of weeks, they were dancing like pros. She learned about LaBlast®, went to a master class, and instantaneously fell in love with it. She feels it’s the best dance format where you can learn the true skill of dance while blasting calories, and then use it at any dance event. Sohailla offers 20+ years of experience as a registered dietitian nutritionist, fitness pro and presenter. Amy Dixon


Amy is one of the most dynamic fitness instructors and celebrity Master Trainers in the industry today. An award-winning fitness presenter, Amy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in exercise physiology and is an AFAA-certified group fitness instructor. She is a Group Fitness Manager for Equinox Fitness Clubs and a Master Trainer for Schwinn® Cycling and BOSU®. Amy is also the star and creator of many award-winning fitness DVDs and online fitness programs.



Danielle obtained her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and Masters in Recreation Administration. She is The Creator of Dance Corps, a fusion of Hip Hop Dance and Interval Training. An expert in the fitness industry, Danielle has taught for 15 years, managed collegiate and nonprofit group fitness and wellness programs, has been an adjunct professor for fitness/wellness-based courses, and was a NASM Personal Trainer. MaryBeth is a highly respected, global fitness industry leader with over 30 years experience in group exercise programming. Amanda is an Account Manager for Myzone, an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer and ACE Group Fitness Instructor with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Western Michigan University. Andrew is a 13-year veteran of the fitness industry with focus on corporate wellness services, portable fitness equipment, and fitness accessibility. He is founder of both MostFit, LLC, the creators of the MostFit Core Hammer, SYN Rings and AGF Wellness, a corporate wellness services provider for a number of companies in the greater L.A. area. Chris is the CEO of Pinnacle Training & Consulting Systems(PTCS), the creator of Certified Post Rehabilitation Specialist(CPRS) certification, 16 home study courses. Chris has 19 years experience as a physical therapist, 20 years experience as a personal trainer and 15 years as a presenter. He holds Advanced Master’s degrees in orthopedics & sports physical therapy from the University of South Australia, a Master’s degree in physical therapy from Nova Southeastern University and B.S. in Marketing.

Ann Gilbert is an owner of two, Shapes Fitness for Women, franchises. Ann oversees the operations of as many as 25 certified Personal Trainers, 50 Group Fitness professionals, and coordinates fee-based group personal training programs. Alejandro is a Les Mills US National Trainer and Presenter for BODYATTACK®, BODYPUMP®, BODYSTEP®️ and the LES MILLS GRIT® Series, and is also a Reebok sponsored athlete. Len Kravitz, PhD, CSCS is the program coordinator of exercise science and a researcher at the University of New Mexico where he recently received the Presidential Award of Distinction and the Outstanding Teacher of the Year award. He is a 2016 inductee into the National Fitness Hall of Fame. Dr. Kravitz was awarded the Fitness Educator of the Year by the American Council on Exercise and has received the Canadian Fitness Professional Lifetime Achievement Award.



Cheri’s passion for teaching began in the public school system as a special education teacher. It continued growing as a swim instructor and lifeguard trainer during the summer months, and eventually as a group fitness, aqua instructor, and personal trainer. Rachel Lauria founder of Believe2Achieve Fitness is an AFAA Certified Instructor, and holds over 6 fitness certifications. She worked closely with Beachbody and Shaun T while the Cize workout was in creation appearing in videos and trainings. Losing 100 pounds herself led her to develop her own format to inspire others on their journey. Incorporating her love for dance fitness and Strength training she created “Weigh2Dance” and in 2018 became the SCW Atlanta Fitness Idol!


Melissa is a Kinesiology Department faculty member at the University of North Georgia. She has 30 years of experience and a master’s degree in Exercise Physiology. She taught elementary PE and coordinated fitness programs for Royal Caribbean, Home Depot and orthopedic surgeons. Melissa is the author of WATER EXERCISE (Human Kinetics 2015), a member of the educational faculty and a DVD presenter for SCW. She is well versed at taking complicated material and breaking it down into easily understood pieces.



Irene Lewis-McCormick, M.S. is the 2018 IDEA Fitness Instructor of the Year, SCW Fitness faculty and certification leader; a published author, fitness consultant and master trainer for TRX, Power Systems and Savvier Fitness. Irene is the Group Training Manager and Lead Conference Educator for WaterRower, a RYKA FitPro and an Orangetheory Fitness educator and head coach.

She is an internationally touring Pre-Civil War Quilt Presenter, telling stories of her ancestors’ quest for freedom by using secret codes in the quilts. Sheldon McBee MS, has a Masters in Degree in Human Nutrition, is an ACE certified Personal Trainer, and has over 18 years of experience in health and fitness. Sheldon is an experienced international presenter, lecturer, business consultant, fitness content developer, and training director. Sheldon is a passionate and dynamic presenter. Tripp is a Master Trainer for RumbleRoller and manages a corporate wellness company with his wife in Fort Worth, Texas where they train yoga and meditation instructors to teach in a local children’s hospital. Country Fusion® is created by Elizabeth Mooney. Elizabeth has been a dancer since the age of 2 and has taught fitness for over 10 years. Past experience includes directing her own off-broadway show in NYC, America’s Got Talent Season 6, and Mercedes Benz fashion week. Elizabeth’s personal achievements include being a finalist in the Miss Italia competition, Elite Model Management competition, Bikini USA and in Miss Hawaiian Tropic. Being an accomplished actress, dancer, choreographer and model, Ms. Mooney has appeared in many television roles, including HBO’s “Boardwalk Empire”, and roles on USA’s “Royal Pains”. Her most recent film and television appearances have been as a featured dancer on the Stars network show “Power”.
