Qi Gong and Tai Chi for Seniors

Targeted to the 55+ fitness client, still active, and looking to make the most of their hourly fitness class, the four focus components are Movement, Meditation, Balance and Breath. Every class starts with a Qi Gong warm-up and 20 minutes learning the Tai Chi 24 Short Form. This is a gentle moving class, popular with people that are motivated to increase their flexibility and movement in general and like to improve their posture and balance.

Daanasana™ Yoga Healthy Spine

In 2012, Julio made a 25,000-mile World Yoga Tour where he included this incredibly powerful yoga practice that focuses on alignment and strength. In this particular session, asanas are adapted to people with back pain, hernias or other structural characteristics. Remember, “you are as young as your spine”.

Extreme Tabata Yoga

Tabata utilizes alternating work and rest for periods of time in a sequence of eight repetitions. This practice lends itself to yoga while holding a pose for 20 seconds and then resting for 10 seconds.
