After reading and viewing the certification materials above, it is time to take your certification exam. You have 60 Days from the date of purchase to complete your exam. If you are not able to complete your Online Certification in this time period, an extension can be requested for $75 by contacting us at certs@scwfit.com or calling 847-562-4020. Our live certifications are free (within one year) for those who have completed the course. If you are unable to attend within one year, you can extend your cut-off date for only $75. Visit www.scwfit.com/MANIA to find an SCW MANIA Convention near you.
Each SCW Certification is valid for two years from the date of completion. To renew your certification:
1. Visit www.scwfit.com/certification-renewal
2. Obtain 20 Continuing Education Credits (CECs/CEUs). CECs can be acquired through:
— SCW MANIA Conventions (up to 20 CECs) www.scwfit.com/MANIA
— SCW Online Certifications (up to 8 CECs) www.scwfit.com/certifications
— Certifications & courses through SCW
— Fitness-related courses offered by colleges and universities
3. Pay a $55 renewal fee for each SCW Certification. If your certification expires, the renewal fee is $75. If your certification is not renewed within six months, you will need to take the course again
4. Due to state and facility CPR requirements, SCW no longer requires a copy of your CPR card
