H2O Luscious Limbs

Strengthen and lengthen the major muscles of the lower body while adding integrity at the joint as well as increased mobility. Learn how to deliver a safe and effective class format. Practice strategies to use when designing your class format and learn to practice not only professional cueing but postural demonstration techniques. This session also will incorporate new programming options using the toys of our trade.

Beneath the Surface

The lower body contains the largest muscles and now we can introduce choreography that emphasizes what happens under the water. Whether you take all the 32 count combos back home or pick and choose one per class, each original piece will create a stir of turbulence below the surface in rebounding, neutral, anchored and suspended varieties!

Aqua Block Party

It’s a water choreography party complete with dance steps, athletic moves and syncopation. This workshop gives you endless combinations of over a dozen 32-count blocks which you can mix and match dependent on your population and teaching style. The blocks may be introduced in a rebound level and progressed or regressed to anchored, neutral or grounded. The party never ends with all these options!

Poolates

With Lisa Gibson
Poolates takes the principles of Pilates and translates them into the aquatic environment. Class participants learn basic Poolates exercises and how they can be modified. Poolates also demonstrates how the eight Pilates principles apply in water and why Poolates is different from other aqua workout methods.
